Its made using a manual wax-resist dyeing technique on cotton fabric. This one is the "original and authentic" version of the product. The technique comes from Java, Indonesia.
This long wrap around skirt has a combination of interesting star dyes and fun colors - Dark Tan and Thunder Black. There is wide calligraphy pattern in bleeding white (that may vary slightly from piece to piece, but is pretty close to what you see in the picture). Its just all very beautiful.
This is a wrap around skirt so it goes around the waist and is tied on the side. The material is thick heavy cotton - not exactly smooth. Almost a floor length skirt which sways with a certain stiffness when you walk.
